Married since 2013, the couple is parents to four children, who often appear in various snapshots and selfies captured in their Beverly Hills residence.
However, a recent photo has sparked controversy among some Instagram users, prompting Teigen to justify its presence in her photo carousel.
The image drawing criticism shows Teigen in the bath with three of her children—Miles Theodore, six, Esti Maxine, two, and Wren Alexander, 19 months.
Their oldest daughter, Luna Simone, eight, is not in this particular picture. The photo shows her three younger siblings smiling with their mom during a relaxing bath.
In addition to the bath photo, the carousel includes a video of the kids seemingly enjoying music in a car, and another of Teigen having her eyebrows laminated.
There are also a few short clips of Teigen posing in front of mirrors, all posted with the caption ‘BAHHHHHHHHHHH’.

The controversial bath picture has attracted numerous comments, with many users expressing their opinions on the matter.
One commenter asked: “Why do people post stuff like this on social media???” while another added: “This a moment that should be kept private… naked kids and a naked adult in the bath together should be the last thing someone thinks about putting out on the internet whether it was innocent or not…”
Another user questioned: “Why is she always in dirty bathwater?”
Teigen responded to this comment with an assertive 11-word reply, stating: “It’s a coconut milk bath for sensitive skin but go off!”
The response has garnered over 8,400 likes, with many fans applauding Teigen for her straightforward reaction.
One supporter commented: “The people with zero clues always ring in…,” while another advised: “It has to be exhausting sometimes trying help people use critical thinking. Stay strong!”
Another admirer wrote: “It’s really sad how people have to bash you. I think you’re wonderful mother doesn’t listen to people. I guess you’re used to it, but people are evil.”

Elsewhere, another follower remarked: “These kids have a better relationship with their parents than any of you mom shaming her.. lol.”
Previously, Teigen faced criticism when Legend posted a video of her removing ‘body makeup’ in a bathtub.
She addressed the backlash by explaining: “Currently getting roasted online for being dirty because no one listened the the audio where I say I’m soaking off body makeup (to shower after!) full blown fights in John’s comments,” while sharing the video again on her Instagram.
Teigen added humor by stating: “My favorite is ‘baths are not for bathing’. I love a good old fashioned roasting though, u guys are killing it (it being never touching grass ever).”
Legend humorously replied to the uproar, stating: “Baths are not for bathing is some amazing internet-ness.”
