Jessica Alba, known for her role in “Honey,” has announced her separation from Cash Warren after almost two decades of marriage.

Recently, numerous reports have surfaced indicating that Alba and Warren, who got married in 2008, have parted ways.

The couple shares three children: Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, who is seven.

They first crossed paths on the set of “Fantastic Four” in 2004, and after four years of dating, they wed.

During the production, Alba portrayed Sue Storm, while Warren worked as director Tim Story’s assistant.

Until recently, both Alba and Warren had not publicly commented on their relationship status amid the breakup reports.

Yesterday (January 17), Alba took to Instagram to discuss the ‘journey of self-realization’ she has been on in recent years.

In a post to her 20 million followers, simply captioned with a white heart emoji, the 43-year-old shared: “I’ve been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash. I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”

In her heartfelt message, Alba continued: “We are moving forward with love and kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”

The actress, who is a mother of three, decided to disable comments on the post.

Looking back to May 2024, during what would have been their 16th wedding anniversary, Alba expressed admiration for Warren and their relationship by saying she was ‘proud’ of how far they’ve come.

“16 years of marriage, 20 years together and forever to go,” she wrote.

“I’m proud of us for making it this far. There is no real set of rules or guidance that can ever prepare you for what it means to commit to another person and choose to be family.”

At that time, Alba also noted: “Through thick and thin we have continually found our way back to each other and have chosen one another. Cheers to us, I love you.”

Although the split seems definitive now, Warren once admitted that they had broken up once before tying the knot, only to reconcile later.

In 2023, during an appearance on the Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast, Warren shared: “When we first started dating, I was really jealous of other guys and the attention she was getting from other guys.

“It just wasn’t making me feel good. I was always a pretty confident person in my own [life], walking my own path and really happy there.”

The two decided to part ways because Warren was ‘feeling jealous all the time’.

The duration of their initial separation before reuniting remains unclear.
