Some individuals on social media insist that the senator is holding the exact same pose he did during Joe Biden’s ceremony in 2021.
In a photo showing Sanders with his arms folded and looking slightly disapproving, one Twitter user jested: “Bernie Sanders saying to himself this could have been an email.”
Another commented: “He still looks cranky, but at least warmer than the last one.”
A third person wrote: “Grumpy grandpa’s gonna grump.”
At the 2021 inauguration, Sanders was wearing a face mask and mittens, due to the chilly weather in Washington D.C. at that time.
This time, due to the cold snap affecting the city, the ceremony was conducted indoors, eliminating the need for mittens.
With COVID-19 no longer posing a significant threat, there was no requirement for a facemask either.
Yet, Sanders appeared to have the same disapproving expression…
