The note contained a straightforward message, “just no,” with an additional comment stating, “you can do better.” Based in the Dallas Fort Worth area of Texas, Lindsay speculated about the note’s meaning while describing how it was handed to her.
Explaining the encounter, she said: “When I sit down, they get up to leave and then one of the girls stops [and] grabs my hair and is like: ‘Oh my god your hair is so pretty, you’re so beautiful I just had to stop you, I just wanted to give you this’ [and handed me the note].”
Though she initially had a positive impression of her date, who is in his early 50s, the note left her feeling conflicted. She addressed her followers, saying, “I don’t know, if y’all saw something I did not see let me know. Help a girl out.”
She pondered whether the women knew something about her date, asking, “Do these girls f**king know him?” but noted that they didn’t include any specifics in the note.
When her date inquired about the note, Lindsay chose not to divulge its contents, and the topic was eventually dropped.
Later, Lindsay revealed that she confronted her date about the note’s implications and received several inebriated responses. These messages altered her perception of him, particularly when he couldn’t recall sending them.
Opinions on social media were mixed. Many of Lindsay’s followers suggested she avoided potential problems, assuming the women had a reason for the warning or shared a history with him. Conversely, others speculated that the note might have been based purely on physical attractiveness rather than any misconduct on his part.
