Spencer Pratt has come forward to support Mandy Moore following criticism she faced for her fundraising efforts related to the LA wildfires.
Moore expressed frustration on social media after she received backlash for promoting her family’s GoFundMe page last week.

The actress and singer is among many affected by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, which have tragically resulted in 24 deaths and destroyed numerous buildings and homes.

In an Instagram post, the ‘Candy’ singer shared that her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Griff and Kat Goldsmith, lost ‘everything they own’ in the Eaton fire, just weeks before their first child is due.

Moore used her social media platform to share a GoFundMe link for her family, which was met with criticism.

Critics called her out for ‘the audacity’ of requesting donations, saying it was inappropriate given her wealth.

Moore responded: “We just lost most of our life in a fire too.

“Kindly F OFF. No one is forcing you to do anything.”

Now, TV personality Pratt has come to Moore’s aid, having also lost his home in the Palisades fire.

The 41-year-old expressed his support in a lengthy TikTok video, stating: “Y’all, I don’t know all the information but let me tell you about Mandy Moore. Mandy Moore, when I was younger, shout-out Mandy Moore. She booked my hotel for me because she was such a nice friend.

“Just as a friend, she booked my hotel in New York – I had never been to New York. I feel like she even booked my flight because I was so much fun to be around. Mandy Moore, I will ride for Mandy Moore.”

The Princes of Malibu producer continued: “If I see one more TikTok about Mandy Moore and GoFundMe’s, I’m going to start coming after you guys.

“You want beef with your worst nightmare, which is me right now, you post about Mandy Moore. I will ride for Mandy Moore.”

Pratt insisted that Moore ‘doesn’t do anything wrong’ and praised her as the ‘nicest lady ever’.

He added: “She’s been nice since… 2004. If you’re nice in 2004, you’re still nice in 2025. Like I’m talking so nice.”

The Hills star reiterated his warning, saying he’d confront those attacking Moore online.

“So don’t you dare come for Mandy Moore. A lot of people I follow, you’re popping up on my page, I wanna block you, stitch you and come for you but maybe delete your content about Mandy Moore because Mandy Moore is a real one”, Pratt continued, “She’s a great human, she’s not doing anything out of pocket, she’s posting GoFundMe’s, that’s great.

“She doesn’t have to pay for whoever. She’s got her own life, her own kids, so don’t you come for Mandy Moore, unless you want a real problem.”

This outpouring of support comes as the Goldsmiths spoke candidly in an interview on CNN’s The Lead, describing their lack of direction and the devastation of seeing their city in ruins.

Meanwhile, Pratt and his wife Heidi Montag are pursuing legal action against the State of California, citing negligence after their home was destroyed by fire.
