Evan Rachel Wood has spoken out in a new documentary about what she describes as a ‘traumatizing’ relationship with her former partner, Marilyn Manson.

The documentary, “Marilyn Manson: Unmasked,” has recently aired on Channel 4. It explores the singer’s life, documenting his ascent as the self-proclaimed ‘Antichrist Superstar’ and delving into the abuse allegations that have overshadowed his career.

Among the numerous allegations in the documentary is one by Wood, relating to an incident she claims happened during the filming of the music video for “Heart-Shaped Glasses”.

According to Wood, the video, which references the poster for Stanley Kubrick’s film Lolita, originally included a scripted sex scene between her and Manson.

In her account within the documentary, Wood asserts that she was informed that cameras and lighting would be arranged so that nothing explicit would be visible on set.

However, when filming commenced, Wood alleges that Manson “just started pulling my clothes off”.

“From there, it just didn’t stop. They yelled cut. The next thing I knew, the entire crew walked on set. And I was sitting on the bed naked, just crying,” she recounted.

“I felt so f**king violated, but I didn’t call it rape for like, many, many years.”

Manson’s lawyer, Howard King, who participated in the documentary, has firmly refuted Wood’s claims.

He stated: “It is demonstrably false that Brian raped Rachel Evan Wood while filming a music video. This was filmed in a studio, there were more than ten people within three feet of the bed.

“Brian had clothes on, although I suppose that wouldn’t prevent this. None of those people have come forward and said they witnessed this act. It is completely fabricated and there is not a witness who will support it.”

UNILAD has contacted Manson’s legal team for their comments.

Wood first publicly accused Manson of sexual and physical abuse in 2020, detailing her experiences during their relationship.

In response, Manson filed a defamation lawsuit in 2022, claiming that the accusations had ‘derailed’ his career.

Last November, the musician chose to withdraw the lawsuit. His lawyer commented: “After four years of fighting a battle where he was able to tell the truth, Brian is pleased to dismiss his still-pending claims and appeal in order to close the door on this chapter of his life.”
